Joshua ends ADAC Formula 4 season on the podium

Last weekend Joshua contested the final round of the ADAC Formula 4 with BWT Mücke Motorsport. At the seventh station of the season at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, three races were on the agenda.
The participants had to prepare themselves for an unusual course of events: The two qualifying sessions did not take place on Friday evening as usual, but on Saturday morning. Dürksen opened the busy Saturday with fourth place in the qualifying for the first race. When the race was released at noon, Joshua got the best start and accelerated his opponent from the second row of the grid. He thus took third place on the first few meters. He defended this position brilliantly over the 30-minute race distance. Unexpectedly, he improved to second position after the two drivers in front of him had collided in the final phase. Dürksen achieved a podium result for the sixth time this year.
Joshua started the second race of the weekend from eighth place on Sunday morning. Once again he made up one position on the first meters. In the dense crowd in the midfield, he proved good vehicle control several times when the car became restless. The twisty track at Oschersleben did not allow any further position improvements after the start. Seventh position helped him to second place on the grid for the final third race. At the start he was pushed into the grass next to the tarmac on his way to the first corner. He lost momentum and lost positions. He finished the first lap in fifth place. In the course of the race he withstood the pressure of the vice champion behind him and finished fifth.
Joshua was ranked sixth in the championship and together with his two team mates Joseff Knopp and Erick Zuniga for BWT Mücke Motorsport he finished fourth in the ADAC Formula 4 team classification.

That is why Joshua could not repeat the result in the third race despite the good starting position".
