BWT MM-Pilot Joshua Dürksen secured 4th Rookie victory
At the last race weekend of the Italian Formula 4 season, the rain god showed no mercy and provided the almost 30 starters with wet to humid conditions for all three races. No problem for Joshua Dürksen, he qualified tenth. In a gripping slipstream battle Joshua continuously improved. In the end he finished fourth behind his team mate Alatalo, a strong fourth place. With this strong performance the Paraguayan secured his fourth rookie victory of the season in the Italian Formula 4.
In the second race things did not go so well for Joshua. He damaged his front wing at a high notch and had to go to the pits to get a new one. As a result, the Paraguayan lost a lot of ground.
Also in the third run Joshua was unlucky. After a collision with a competitor, his race ended early.
A happy ending to the 2019 season, as Joshua had already shown top performance in the two free practice sessions in dry conditions.
Frank Lucke (Team Manager Formula 4):
We had three rain races in which Joshua did very well. In the first race he showed a really strong performance, unfortunately with bad luck in races 2 and 3
